It would be like making a movie about a guy with one leg who hunts down a white whale and saying you never heard of Moby Dick. Think for about two seconds before you send off a knee-jerk response. You can, however, in the best interests of your shareholders, have someone over at Paramount Pictures solicit a review copy from my "recognized" agent, Laura Strachan, buy the film rights from the publisher and make one of the best, most worthwhile, most rewarding, most remunerative movies of the 21st Century. Hey, Bruce, you're a conduit. The "submissions" aren't meant for you, they're meant for your clients. If you want to keep your clients from hearing about a book that would make a good movie, that's your choice. I want someone to make a movie out of my book. Your clients make movies. I'm gonna tell 'em about it. It's your job to pass along vital information. You get to decide what's vital and what's not, sure; but I get to tell you what I think is vital for them to hear about.
